They got the girl back, they got paid (always a plus), and the jackass who was ultimately responsible for ruining her play date with Ramon ended up as alligator food.   Mission accomplished.  Michael did buy her breakfast, but he didn't stick around to share it with her.  Which made her even more angry than his little stunt the night before.

She slipped into the bar and made a beeline for her flat.  A long nap, a long hot soak, and a pint of yogurt, and she was beginning to feel human.

A glance at the top of her dresser and she's rolling her eyes.  If she needed someone to talk to?  Spend time with?  A dog was sounding really good right about now.
